Congratulations on being selected for INHERITANCE, Nommo House's upcoming Juneteenth exhibition. We are excited to include your work in our largest exhibition to date, bringing together Black artists and artists of color from across the DMV for a weekend of art, community, and cultural exchange.
To confirm your participation, please review the information below and complete the confirmation process by May 29, 2026.
INHERITANCE explores what is passed down and carried forward through memory, image, material, and ways of living.
Presented over Juneteenth weekend, the exhibition considers how artists engage histories, traditions, communities, visual languages, and lived experiences that continue to shape the present while informing what comes next.

2. Submit the Artist Participation Fee
Participation is not officially confirmed until both items have been received. If you need support or additional time, please contact adewale@nommohouse.co
A gallery for artists and run by artists.
Rather than taking commission from artwork sales, Nommo House operates through a shared production model.
The $60 artist participation fee supports:
Venue rental
Exhibition production
Installation materials
Documentation
Staffing
Operational costs
Artists retain 100% of artwork sales.
